Risk Probe Software Release |

Sibers (former Key-Soft Ltd) has been successfully developing Asuret Risk
Probe product for the last 3.5 years. As a result, new version
(build 1.747) of software delivers new attractive features for analyzing risk
probe data and generating comprehensive reports. Sibers put a lot of effort
to support Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. New version has
already received positive
feedback from current and potential customers, and now stakeholders requested
to work on an online version of software. As possible architecture we
consider Microsoft Server 2003 with ASP.net stack and MS SQL Server 2005
for server part.

It is our pleasure to inform you that on October 7, 2006 our company gained a new name! We introduce Sibers - the new standard in remote programming and outsourcing. The new name, new standards of quality, new website - and old good people proved to be so attentive and professional.
Why we renamed? Because we want to be rich and famous, but do you know
any –Soft (except for those Micro- ones) that is rich and famous?
Neither do we.
What does Sibers mean? Just everything: Siberia (where we are from),
scientific (who we are), cyber (what is in our heads), lastly, beer
(what we love)!
What will change to you? Just nothing: we will even automatically
forward our emails from the old address.
So, please share with us this great event in our history and...

Flash Seminar report |

The last August weekend (26-27 August, 2006) was marked by the first of the series of seminars “Macromedia Flash Application”.
The starting seminar “Object-oriented programming and developing Macromedia Flash applications” was organized by experts from Key-Soft and had the aim to share experience with Flash programmers and to form a professional community. The training focused on practicing the technologies in question, which greatly affected the participants’ experience, as they unanimously reported. Having performed a number of tasks during the 2 days’ seminar, the participants acquired practical skills and got ready to apply them in their work. Apart from benefits of drilling, they made a note of high professional qualification and expertise of the organizers and the fact that the material was presented in a highly understandable and effective manner.
We are planning to hold further seminars on Macromedia Flash application with a course not only for advanced Flash specialists, but also for beginners and those interested in learning the area. With that end in view, the company is going to interest a broad audience and launch programs for students majoring in IT.

Today, Akademgorodok hosts the Sixth International Andrei Ershov Memorial Conference on Perspectives of System Informatics. The Conference is sponsored and organized by several companies among which a very active role belongs to Key-Soft.
The Conference was opened by the lecture of Scott W. Ambler, a senior consultant of Ambysoft Inc. Key-Soft managers and developers attended the lecture and are going to share the materials and provide a photo-report of the event.

Today we are happy to welcome at our office our prospective client from France. He is visiting us for just two days to discuss our cooperation for a big gambling project we are about to launch in the nearest future. Today is a very busy day wholly dedicated to talks about all possible issues and points of our partnership.
Visits of our current and prospective clients are always great, busy and fun days with them. Even for such short visits we try not only have business talks but spend some time showing them the city and just getting to know each other better.

Key-Soft discovers Japan for a long-term partnership. Our business visit to the eastern neighbors has successfully finished. Its main point was to establish business contacts between Key-Soft and Japanese companies with the aim to find long-term partners and organize outsourcing.
We have tried to awake customers' interest in our services and have them target us as a strategical partner for a quality long-term partnership not only in the field of developing software but more importantly in IT-consulting.
Japanese views on life are known to differ sufficiently from traditional European ones. This characteristic property made us think of a nontrivial way to solve the problem of habits. The results of the trip are promising, especially in view of obtained experience in promoting projects, establishing communications and finding different ways of conducting the software services. We hope to deepen our relations with Japan and become still closer neighbors.

Novosibirsk region hosts record frosts |

"The record winter temperature of -49.9 C, unprecedented for January,
was fixed in Novosibirsk region on January,24. This is the lowest
value reported during a period of more than 100 years of observations.
The previous record for January was held in 2001 and reached -49.1 C.
According to the data observed since early 1900s, however, the
absolute minimal temperature for Novosibirsk region is -51. RSN cites
meteorologists claiming that this record might well be broken soon."

December 06, 2005 is the date of the 3d contest "The Best Region in IT Sphere"
hold by Ministry of Economic Advancement within the framework of
federal program "IT Russia (2002-2010)". This
year 47 regions of Russian Federation took place in this contest.
Contest committee in nomination "Institutions of public support in the IT society
development" evaluated the development of processes and companies that unite government,
business, civil society and people from the scientific-education society in the IT area. Contest committee
took into account information they got from the regions about the work of many-sided consultations and
partnerships, whose aim is to lead the country to the IT society.

In nomination "Human capital" the body of knowledge and experience
of economically active population that influence Internet development of the region was taken into

And so the Golf Project has launched to sales.
This is the good news taking into account that this task was important for us
because the challenge was real. We had to build a solution using
non expensive components and don't sacrifice a quality. And what the customer says:
